The Center supports educational activities in partnership with local K-12 schools and local colleges and universities that bring cultural and historical experiences to students and position the Center as a resource for collaborative education into social justice and civil liberties issues.
The Trailblazers Program educates young students about the legacy of inspirational leaders. Through art and activities, the Center shows students how these leaders acted as trailblazers for social justice issues. The Trailblazer Program encourages art exploration, multi-media and hands-on projects and takes place on the third Saturday of every month from 1-3pm.
For educators interested in including the Center in their educational experiences, please contact the Center staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
