Greet visitors and answer their questions about the exhibits. Engage in conversation with people who are curious to learn more. Responsibilities include basic front desk tasks, such as tracking visitor numbers and disbursing flyers and notecards, along with occasional special projects.
Time Commitment: 3-6 hours Saturdays, as available.
School Visit Assistant
Work with K-12 students and teachers on activities related to the exhibits ranging from art projects to facilitating discussions about art, American history, and our civil liberties. Responsibilities include tracking supplies, supporting teachers and Center staff with scheduling, and identifying and developing potential new curriculum projects.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hours weekdays, as available.
Update and manage collections management software, upload material to digital archives, identify and label artworks by thematic and art historical associations, and respond to requests related to archival materials. Responsibilities include data entry, scanning, running queries using specialized software, and research. Additional information and training for these projects are available.

Social Media Assistant
Write and post Center updates to social media platforms, maintain calendar of related art and social justice events, and support other events at raising public awareness of the Center and its programs. Responsibilities include writing, taking photographs, researching regional events, and coordinating with RCCD strategic communications staff.
Time Commitment: 3-6 hours weekdays or weekends, as available.
